Planned Parenthood lies. Shocker.

Wow. Who would have thought that the people who kill millions of babies each year would also be liars.
Watch here, from Creative Minority Report.

Caught on tape... again...

The manager of a central New Jersey Planned Parenthood facility was caught on video giving a couple pretending to be sex traffickers advice about how to lie to avoid reporting sexual activity or abortions of 14 year old girls. The manager assured them that there would be no parental notification for an abortion, "She's still entitled to care without Mom knowing what the hell is goin' on."
     Some care.
See the undefendable, here, from the Blaze.
And now... there's a second video from a second Planned Parenthood facility in Virginia. Again, the PP worker counsels a man posing as a pimp about how to circumvent parents of young girls, and the law regarding the reporting of abortions.
Both of these videos deal specifically with 14 and 15 year-old would-be prostitutes, some in this country illegally.
     The darkness just gets darker.

Right to Life March...

As I stood there on the Mall, in the whipping cold on Monday, I realized exactly why I was there.
If we do not stand up and say, "Enough," who will?
Tens of thousands of people, young and old, from all over the country, marched for life on Washington that day... to do just that.
The aim of the day wasn't about social programs or political parties (although the Republicans in this Congress did say they will rightly work to eliminate taxpayer-funding of abortion).
Most people went to the March for Life simply to stand up and affirm that pre-born life deserves lawful protection from slaughter. Period.
It was about shining the light on the unborn... something many in this nation lack the moral courage to do. We know they lack the political courage.
And of course they went to the March to pray.
To pray for the victims... unborn and grown.
And of course, to pray for an end to the atrocity, mistakenly accepted as a necessary evil, that has led to the killing of more than 5o million babies nationwide, and millions more worldwide.
I was touched by the women, and men, who courageously stood up to say they regretted their abortions. They said they were told at the time that this was a "solution to their problem," but that it had only brought on greater problems. They said that they had been the "consumer"... and they were there to tell us that "the product is no good!" The audience brimmed with love and support for each one of them.
It is time for more sunlight. Time for telling the truth. Time for guiding the many regretful consumers toward the forgiving arms of the Father.
     It is time for healing.
It is time for life first.
Enough of the horror that we have allowed to shroud our nation in death.
     Enough of the justification.
Enough of the self-indulgence and reliance on self only... the elevation of material comfort over life itself... the disregard for Natural Law... and the distrust in God's providence.
     Enough of the lies.
Enough of the very act that I still try to shield my youngest child from knowing exists, for even children know it to be included in the stuff of nightmares and horrifying side shows.
     Enough.

Hope for crisis pregnancies...

This past Monday, I had the wonderful and much-needed opportunity to visit a pro-life crisis pregnancy center that occupies an office space that was once an abortuary. This particular center is one of two clinics run by my sister-in-law. The one I visited is in Severna Park, Maryland, and the other one is in nearby Bowie.
The people/angels of this ministry have reclaimed that Severna Park space for God, and have brought it from deep and horrifying darkness into the Light of Christ's presence and hope.
In a culture that falsely and hopelessly markets killing as a necessary choice, these pro-life centers are full-service clinics with 3D/4D sonogram machines to show their clients the truth. They also bring the truth of God's mercy and love to every person who walks through their doors.
In this Season of Hope, it is a comfort to know that these clinics stand for peace and truth, shining light on life-affirming choices for those who may believe all hope is lost.
To visit their website and see their broad spectrum of free services, please click here.
And if you are considering end-of-year contributions, please, prayerfully consider donating to these centers. Although they have many volunteers, money is needed to hire the nurses, to pay for supplies, and to pay the rent. They receive no public funding of any sort. They rely solely on private donations. If you wish to contact them, please click here .
If you cannot give money at this time, please pray for this ministry and the men and women who seek their care... that God will always provide.
May God bless you abundantly, now and always.
Blessed Mother... Please look with favor upon this ministry, and these centers, and intercede with utmost urgency on their behalf... as at the Wedding Feast. Thank you. Amen.

No money from me for the CCHD...

This Sunday, the second collection at Mass in many parishes across America will again be used for the USCCB's Catholic Campaign for Human Development, "the domestic anti-poverty, social justice program of the US Catholic bishops."
For 40 years, the CCHD has collected more than $450 million from Catholic collections. But the donations do not go directly to those in material need for things like food, clothing or shelter.
No. The money goes to fund a vast network of community organizers, working for societal, political and economic transformation, in the name of "social justice."
Community organizing is a method of social agitation, confrontation and infiltration. Taking its lead from the teachings of communist Saul Alinsky, it is intended to fan the flames of discontent in communities, for the purpose of seizing public power.
"Saul Alinsky explained his community organizing tactics in his book Rules for Radicals. His game plan was to divide the community into the Haves and the Have Nots, make the Have Nots believe they are unjustly treated by the Haves, build resentment against the American social and economic system, use church congregations to mobilize street agitators, and lobby government for higher taxes and big-spending welfare programs in order to confiscate the wealth and power of the Haves and turn it over to the Have Nots. Alinsky dedicated his book to Lucifer, "the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom." Discover the Networks
Over the years, the CCHD collection has funded some organizations that conduct or support activities that directly oppose the teaching of the Catholic faith. Their connection to Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good, Call to Action, and ultimately, George Soros, are troubling.
Under fire from faithful Catholic groups, the CCHD has made some reforms. But the USCCB's reform document highlights groups that still hold dubious alliances. The Coalition of Imolokee Workers is a member of the US Human Rights Network; FOCUS is part of the PICO network; and COPS is one of Saul Alinsky's Industrial Areas Foundation projects. Those are just the first three grantees promoted in the CCHD reform document.
There may be some CCHD grantees this year that will do some good work, especially if the list includes (for the first time ever) crisis pregnancy centers. But the CCHD has not yet made available the list of recipients for this year's grants.
Let me be clear... Many people involved in the CCHD may have good intentions; but, it is my belief that no bad tree can yield good fruit (Matthew 7). For me, the Saul Alinsky genesis has tainted the whole project.
That said, in and around every archdiocese, there are some very worthy local charities whose good works support the true teaching of the church. This year, once again, I will choose one of those, and give to it directly.
To learn about the roots of the CCHD, its ties to Saul Alinsky, and the evil it has abided for 40 years, click here, to watch Real Catholic TV's March broadcast of Catholic Investigative Agency.
For more recent information, see the report from the group Reform CCHD Now, here, and see a list of links to CCHD-related articles from LifeSite News here, especially this one about the apparent backpedaling on the CCHD reforms in Chicago, and this one, regarding the CCHD praise for the Coalition of Imolokee Workers.
They said to one another, "Come, let us mold bricks and harden them with fire." They used bricks for stone, and bitumen for mortar. Then they said, "Come, let us build ourselves a city and a tower with its top in the sky, and so make a name for ourselves; otherwise we shall be scattered all over the earth." LORD came down to see the city and the tower that the men had built. Then the LORD said: "If now, while they are one people, all speaking the same language, they have started to do this, nothing will later stop them from doing whatever they presume to do. Let us then go down and there confuse their language, so that one will not understand what another says." Thus the LORD scattered them from there all over the earth, and they stopped building the city. Genesis 11
I pray that this network be defunded by Catholics, and scattered by God.
Please pray for the CCHD program, that true reform will happen, and that any money received will be faithfully used for the glory of God.

When you go to vote...

When you go to vote, ask yourself this...
Does the candidate I favor claim to work for the "quality of life for the most vulnerable among us," without protecting the right of the absolutely most vulnerable to even be born? I would say, Allow the children to be born, and then talk to me about how to improve their way of life.
Ahh... quality of life. The justification for abiding, even promoting, the destruction of millions of unborn children, here and abroad.
Our government's job is to protect our individual rights, including our right to live. Protecting us is not the same thing as providing for our material needs.
Does your candidate stand arm in arm with protectors of life and liberty? And when I say "life," I mean the right to actual life... that is, the ability to be born.
Or does your candidate stand with destroyers of life and liberty? Is that whom you would turn to for protection?
If your core beliefs include the protection of life and liberty, why would you turn over your responsibilities, your treasure, and your voice to a governing body that doesn't share those core beliefs.
A couple of years ago, the slogan was, "Yes, we can."
We the People are not a collective... We are a collection of individuals who can help our neighbors.
     It's not, Yes, we can.
It's, Yes, I can. Remember that.
When it comes to empowering those in government to do what you ought to do, because they say they can and that you can't... Don't believe them. You can. Especially when they are willing to sacrifice some, for the good of the collective.
It comes down to this when you vote... Stand up for the unborn, and for freedom, and take care of the vulnerable people yourself.

Shocking. Horrifying. Hopeless...

This weekend, a woman on a BBC talk show advocated putting a pillow over the face of a suffering child, as the loving thing to do. "Any good mother would."
She equates this and abortion as the merciful thing to do for disabled children. She sees the two acts as the same. The sad thing is that she is right, they are the same. And a breath of oxygen, and the method of killing are really the only differences.
Do you wonder about people who legitimize killing people for their own good? I do.
This is what happens when God is removed from the equation. This is what I mean by hopeless.
Watch the video, from the Blaze.
These people come right out and tell you who they are. Listen to them.

DOJ pairs with Planned Parenthood to target pro-lifers as violent...

Last month, the U.S. Department of Justice paired with Planned Parenthood and the National Abortion Federation in an FBI training seminar to target pro-life Americans as violent and racist.
Read the article here, from Life News.
So let me get this straight. The organizations that for years have promoted the killing of millions of innocent lives are accusing the people that try to save those lives... of violence?
And the groups that advocate the extermination of wide swaths of the minority population by abortion are claiming that the ones who try to save those lives... are the racists?
Anyone still claiming they are helping minorities and the poor by eliminating them, please read up on eugenics, the roots of contraception and abortion. Read about Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood. Read all about how she just loved minorities, and other undesirables.
You could say she loved them to death.
This DOJ program is not about clinic bombings, or any bodily violence at all.
It simply claims that peaceful free speech, like posters and pamphleteering, and gasp... praying on the sidewalks of abortuaries... is violent. Oh, and racist.
Note to the DOJ... The pro-life groups are the only ones here standing up for non-violence and equality.
Up is down. Down is up.

Evil goes green... Global warming unmasked...

The green movement is driven by evil. Not science.
I'm not trying to say that turning off the lights, or recycling, is evil... no.
But the underlying agenda? Um... yes.
Of course we have a responsibility to be good stewards of God's creation. Nobody would dispute that. Common sense conservation is good and noble.
But the larger goals of this whole climate change movement are sinister.
Population control. Global governance. Earth worship.
Population control. Worldwide reproductive rights for the poor. This is the eugenicist's dream come true. Eliminate the undesirables, in the name of saving the earth.
Global governance. Destroy the industrialized nations by global taxes and regulation on energy. Establish international laws and treaties that supersede national sovereignty, elevating the United Nations as the final authority, in the name of saving the planet.
And, of course, earth worship. Elevate the earth as its own goddess, thereby eliminating God Himself.
Little do many of the green movement's willing participants realize that they are being used by the environmentalist elites whose aim is to co-opt religious organizations in order to give the whole movement a spiritual imperative.
The U.S. Bishops' Conference (USCCB) is one such organization. They have chosen to embrace the green movement. Man-made climate change is not a theological truth. The bishops should be running the other way. But instead they have implemented a global warming curriculum in Catholic schools, in the name of environmental justice.
See the Catholic Coalition on Climate Change, the Catholic Climate Covenant, and the St. Francis Pledge. Total propaganda.
It is very important that you watch this episode of Catholic Investigative Agency from Real Catholic TV. It does take about an hour and a half, but it is extremely important. Tell your friends.

Modern day eugenics... abortion will do... Margaret Sanger would be proud...

Margaret Sanger was an early 20th century progressive, and the founder of Planned Parenthood. She believed that minorities and poor people were inferior to whites, and should not breed. She was influential in promoting eugenics in America.
I was researching eugenics and found the following passage here.
"Equally or even more influential on popular culture was Margaret Sanger 1883-1966. Sanger is known as a crusader for contraceptive rights; but few know that her concern for contraception was based firmly on concern for racial control. Her early work in impoverished environments led her to the belief that 'genetically inferior' persons should have less children, and that centers for birth control should be 'wisely' placed in neighborhoods which were impoverished, which also frequently happened to be in minority settings. Her first major 'research' journal, Birth Control Review published articles and research by Eugenicists including a few published by one of Hitler's Eugenicists."
"Few know of Sanger's concern with racial policies and control, but a careful perusal of authors and articles in these early journals demonstrate her concern with human engineering. She was later in life appointed honorary head of Planned Parenthood, the group which grew out of her original organization in the 1940s; the journal has continued as a research arm of Planned Parenthood till this day, under a different name. These and other influences of Eugenics proponents in the United States were formidable contributing factors in the lobbying for isolationism and restricted immigration during World War II, hurting mostly Jewish persons wishing to escape the Shoah."
Does any of this sound familiar? Centers for birth control wisely placed in neighborhoods which are impoverished, which also frequently happen to be in minority settings. And all this time, I thought Planned Parenthood just wanted to help.
If you don't know history, you are doomed to repeat it. Boy, have the women of this nation been taken for a ride. Get off now, lest you end up heartbroken.

Add New Mexico and Maryland to the list...

Well... what do you know... New Mexico and Maryland have joined Pennsylvania in funding abortions with federal taxpayer money under Obamacare. Read here and here
Didn't the president promise this wouldn't happen? Hmm.
Believe me, it's only just begun. Make no mistake about this administration's mantra... An abortion in every pot.
Let's look at their to-do list...
Abolish the Mexico City policy and fund abortions in other countries... check.
Abolish the ban on abortions in military hospitals... check.
Fund abortion campaigns in other countries to reverse their pro-life laws... check.
And now... fund abortions here at home... check.
All with our money... check. Even ardent pro-lifers' money... check.
It's immoral and it's reprehensible... so what.
Oh, and I forgot one more item on their list... Convince faithful churchgoers that although this is obviously not desirable, it is necessary... you know... for some poor people who could lose everything by saying yes to life. Everything material, that is. Think of the poor. The less fortunate... who couldn't possibly get by without killing their babies... check.
Can anyone not see it yet? Worldwide population control. And if you're still not convinced, look up eugenics and Margaret Sanger, founder of Planned Parenthood.
There is no way that people of good conscience can any longer look the other way with regard to the monstrous slaughter of millions and millions of children worldwide. Especially when an American administration is so enthusiastically expanding this horror.
If you wonder what evil looks like, this is it.
If you still can't see it... pray that God will knock the scales off your eyes.
     And pray for His mercy.
Note... Maryland is one of four states that already uses state tax money to fund abortion on demand. Maryland's governor says he is Catholic. He permits this anyway.

Taxpayer funded abortions for Pennsylvania...

Pennsylvania... the first to get federal funding for abortion under Obamacare. Shocker. Read all about it here.

The widow... and salt and light...

Today's readings are full of richness. I thank God for providing this daily bread.
The first reading tells us the story of the widow and Elijah. The widow and her son had nothing. They were about to eat sticks, and die. But Elijah told her not to be afraid... that if she would first prepare something for him to eat, God would sustain her. It was true, of course. Give of what you have... even if that's all you have... and God will take care of you, as promised. Trust in God.
Today's Gospel tells us that we are the salt of the earth... but if salt loses its flavor, what is it good for? Nothing. It will be cast out and trampled underfoot.
Jesus also tells us that we are the light of the world. We are not to hide our light, but to let it shine forth before others, so they can see our good deeds and glorify our heavenly Father. Be who you were created to be... salt and light.
Salt and Light. Obedience in faith. Blessed are we.

The Word...

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came to be through him, and without him nothing came to be. What came to be through him was life, and this life was the light of the human race; the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it." (John 1: 1- 5)
I hate to even mention Nancy Pelosi in the same post with this beautiful image of Jesus Christ, but she started it. In case you missed it, she spoke to a Catholic audience last month about how her faith guides her policy decisions. Unbelievable. Nancy, pay attention... "What came to be through Him was life, and this life was the light of the human race... the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it."
Read the article from Catholic Online here.

"Life issues" positions do matter...

If you still think that President Obama's position on life issues is just one small part of his total package... maybe you should re-examine his total package.  If you claim to be pro-life, and still justify any support for this man, or others like him... as the so-called "real pro-life candidate"... well... here is your wake-up call. For millions of children, it is already too late.
And... make no mistake about what I mean by pro-life... To be pro-life, you must denounce abortion... and embryonic stem cell experimentation... and euthanasia... completely. These things are intrinsic evils. They must be rejected... never justified. We are commanded by God, our Creator, to defend life, from conception to natural death. Anything less is an affront to Him. Truly un-Godly. It really is that simple.
Here is a list of appointments, bill signings, speeches, and other actions taken by Barack Obama that promote and expand abortion, as well as other anti-life evils. I have posted the entire list (available at LifeNews.com), exposing his true agenda of promoting the destruction of life worldwide. This list spans from the November, 2008 election through mid-April, 2010.
To see this agenda laid out, in all of its horrifying detail, is necessary to remind us of the evil that we are up against. And this is just one policymaker promoting this agenda. There are hundreds like him.  They all must be rejected. Make no mistake about that. Never forget who rejoices in the destruction of innocent life.
